Kevin had a really good skate! I enjoyed the program, but I was bothered by the costume. I thought he was a samurai power ranger or something....

On MCM: I loved that he skated his heart out there. He wasn't the best here, but I'm really really REALLY happy to see how far he's come from that kid who captured my figure skating fan heart with his Aladdin program and effortless 2Sal. It's amazing to see his 6-month-old 3A. (Love that smile after the landing in the SP!) He reminds me of Yuzuru Hanyu. With the right training grounds and opportunities, maybe we could see him in PyeongChang. (But he has college to think about before then.)

Denis    Such a shame for the touch down on flip and step out on 2A, but zhenya got 168 for far worse performance, so judges better give him 170+!  

171+, they could've given him a higher score, IMO.

He's had such a rough year so I was happy to see him perform the way he did.

Yes, but men are allowed it, it's women who's certain body parts must be covered. for a good reason, IMO.

I'm so happy for Denis Ten!! He went almost clean, and after the 'litany of injuries' he's had to endure all season.

Alexander Majorov of Sweden had a program with personality. Pity he had a couple of errors, but he has really strong knees!

Michal Brezina's footwork sequence to Discombobulate from the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack had a lot of fun moments for me. That theme was reused too much in the program, in my opinion. The music could have been a lot better.

Yan Han is next!

Its a pity I wanted to go Sochi, the tickets are soldout on their website, and its EMPTY. This is just stupid at least give people free tickets to fill the seats you know.

I think I read yesterday that after Plushy announced his withdrawal, most Russians left the arena. Not sure if this is credible, but if so...   

Vancouver wasn't like this, I really love the Canadians appreciates all skaters.

Also i noticed theres barely any standing ovation for other skaters than Russian. Thats why Torino and Vancouver is the best audience.

I felt Tatsuki was nervous, I see hesistance is his takeoffs.

I think they liked Jeremy's and Misha's though. As for the others, the reaction was mostly lukewarm. I predict if Yulia skates on ladies competition there would be thunderous uproar for their new skating superstar.

The attitude of the crowd is really pissing me off. I get it, you want your countrymen do well, but hello, there's also other competitiors competing, who deserve some respect in a form of cheering.    Instead they get Rossiya chant for Russians and a polite applause for everyone else. Today doesn't count, because there's no Russian competing. Just wait until Ice Dance and especially ladies.
