i think there are other criteria they'll be using to decide who goes to Vancouver. The results for Nationals will weigh heavily also and I think only the highest placed competitor in the GP will have a spot.

dlnnyc - I wouldn't worry about this at all. flower

The Chosun Ilbo is a Korean newspaper, and we all know that the Korean media has an (ahem) slight anti-Mao bias. I saw the link and then I promptly ignored the article.

The only person guaranteed a spot in the Olympics is the winner of Japan Nationals. The top placer at the GPF likely will have a spot, but really I think JSF may change the rules. I don't see Mao not going to the Olympics.

And I'm not worried, because I think she's going to win Japan Nationals. Very Happy

You know...it is rather interesting. All of us who were lucky enough to see this LP live love it (even though Mao was not at her best)! As I wrote in the TEB thread - before seeing it live I had some doubts although the more I saw it, the more I liked it. And then at TEB I enjoyed it a lot! It's an outstanding program, a one that is not easy to forget. Mao is not a drama queen, however this program shows her different side and Mao takes an opportunity to show something completely new. When you sit at the arena and see so many very similar programs this one is so refreshing!
I hope that once Mao gets her confidence back this program will really work for her! Cheering

I adore it from the first moment, but everyone else said it wasn't good. As for her short program, I like Masquarade, but maybe Caprice would be better. Masquarade was fantastic in the last season, but Mao needs change.

And I'm sure Mao will go to Vancouver!!! She will be prepared for Nationals.[/i]

Miki's short program perfomace was only for the side part of the rink, because our part was laughing loudly LMAO

In the end we shouted- Kolya's the best! Too sweet!
