I think Miki and Dai are just friends. Miki is always friendly to any skaters. For me, she looks same way when she is with Nobu.

I've never even heard any rumors about Miki and Dai. I just thought they were really cute when I saw them having fun on the ice. I think all those Japanese skaters are more like sisters and brothers.

Video shows Arakawa cheering Mao throughout the entire FS skate. 櫻井翔 (member of a J-POP group, Arashi - remember his interview with Mao after world team trophy? ) is also present at the show to give comments on Mao's skate. Then, there's an interview of Mao immediately after the medal ceremony. Arakawa giving advice and encouragement at the end of the clip.

Aside from the video of Mao meeting Mai, this is another clip that should not be missed.

Taka-chan's eyes are still watery! It's very interesting that he was the most emotional out of all of them...verrryyy interesting...

Then again, I was crying even before Mao started skating her LP and was crying the entire time (and like Taka-chan, I've never cried watching figure skating), so maybe it's not that unusual. Hehe.

Hehehehe, EXCELLENT point! I can see that for some of the formal Team Japan shots, Mao and Taka-chan are placed next to each other because they're the tallest, but here they MUST have chosen to sit next to each other, right??

Yes, but Joannie is 157 cm tall, and Mao isn't the tallest girl too... so maybe he wouldn't look so tall next to other girls...
