| Since I mentioned Lee Barkell in the Mao thread...
Apparently according to Nobunari's homepage, he just returned from Canada and practiced his new SP at Kansai Uni's rink. I wonder if there are any rumours on Jaoanese forums what his program is and who choreographed it..? Or at least if Nobunari is going to perform it at Prince Ice World..?

| I heard the rumour that Nobunari's programs this season will be: SP: Pink PantherLP: Charlie Chaplin (keeping last season's LP)No idea who choreographed the SP! Perhaps it will be announced at PIW (in 2 days). Pink Panther would be an awesome choice for Nobu... A great match for his cuteness and cat-like knees. Just please, no pink costume... ETA: To avoid confusion, the info above turned out to be just a rumour. The real SP will be "Storm" by Yoshida Brothers choreographed by Sebastien Britten, and the LP music is yet to be announced, but the program was choreographed by David Wilson.

| Thanks for the info, Oscilla! Pink Panther will suit Nobu Does anyone know who choreographed it? I don't know why but it reminds me of Fly me to the moon. I loved it! | |

| I think PP would be very fun and a good match for Nobunari, but as I said, it's still just a rumour. Although the person who posted it is usually very reliable, she mentioned that it's not something she saw on her own eyes, she just repeated what other people said. It's like 3rd rumour in a row, though. The previous ones were the Orfeus in Hell overture (Cancan) and Take 5. I had trouble believing in those, because Cancan would be a nightmare to skate to in SP (just try to match difficult jumps to that fast beat) and Take 5 is too overused. I'm wondering if the new program from PIW is an EX or SP - it had 3 jumping passes including 3A, so it sounds a bit like SP..? ETA: Or not. It was an EX after all. AFAIK the admin of Nobunari's official homepage is at PIW, so maybe she'll update Nobu's program listings after she gets back from the show. | |

| Sad news: No Pink Panther this time. Excellent news: Nobu's new SP will be : "Storm" by Yoshida Brothers, choreographed by Sebastien Britten! Music preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCBKRajecr4I love Yoshida Brothers, and "Storm" & "Rising" are my favourite songs. And after "Zatoichi" I really wanted Nobunari to skate a Japanese-themed program again. | |

| Someone @FSU mentioned that Nobunari was spotted in Toronto working woth David Wilson on his new LP. The music is still kept secret, though. I thought that we'll have to wait until Grand Prix to know for sure, but I checked the roster for the Thornhill Summer Skate (Barkell's students almost always skate there to have their programs checked by the judges) and Nobunari's on the roster! http://www.skatecanada-centralontario.com/Irma/Summer%20Skate%202010/smen.htmlDate: August 12th - 15th Hopefully there will be some reports. | |

can anyone translate what he said about his new life? =D thanks for sharing this with us supportmaoasada! I missed watching this show and am thankful I was able to watch it now. As what i gather watching it, Nobu shared some thoughts about his wife. He said that his wife is a good cook, and grateful of her for preparing and cooking meals for him during his rigid training and practices. His favorite particular food that his wife does is her "tamago yaki"or japanese fried egg roll. the actual fried egg roll that Nobu's wife prepared were actuall brought to the set of the show. And the 3 host were able to taste it and commented that it was really delicious and very neatly done. Nobu said it is somehow specially delicious today and everyone laughed. Nobu also said how he and his wife met. he chuckled and shared them the story: they were on the same year in Junior high school and that it was like "kataomoi" (one sided love) at first for Nobu. they dated once during college already, and Nobu asked her to be his girlfriend. he was dismissed and didn't think it'll work so the girl let him down, thinking Nobu couldn't be really serious asking her on their FIRST DATE. But after awhile, after dating for quite some time, the girl finally realized Nobu was really serious so she eventually accepted Nobu's offer for them to be engaged. Nobu said that like any other normal marriages, they also quarel or disagree on ome things. Like for instance Nobu admitted that he is sometimes not that serious on things, that he has this "loose" attitude in him that sometimes gained their disagreement. like for example Nobu tries to help his wife after it cooked meal, and Nobu would offer to do the dishes, but his wife said that he tends to use a lot of bubbles, forgets to close the faucet bulb tightly and sometimes left the dishes with still soap on it. when also he folds the newly laundried clothes, and tried to help her, his wife would have to repeat it again because it wasn't properly folded or done. those little things that lead them to petty little quarrels just like any normal marriages would have. Nobu admits it is his fault most of the time because of his loose attitude on a lot of things, and the way he sees things like "what will be, will be". In the end his wife actual message to Nobu were read in front of him by the show host, and wife said Nobu i hope for you to change the loose character of " what will be, will be attitude" and everybody laughed ) Lastly wife said that Being a wife she loves Nobu's efforts in his skating, studies and being a husband to her.

I guess they are having a happy moment now especially they have a new born baby Very Happy you're welcome supportmaoasadathank you too for sharing the video. sorry for some mis-spelled words and some letters might be missing. i just woked up and really hungry so I was typing so fast here. my apologies. I'm glad I could help, it's easier for me to translate videos and hearing the words rather than translating actual text, japanese characters are still very difficult for me. I'm so happy for Nobu'kun too , you are right!, he is happily married now plus the little bundle, I'm sure it'll inspire him more to do good this season. i can't wait to see his programs and wishes him well on everything.
