I'd rather buy the tickets. If it is free of charge, I think it'd be very hard for a foreigner like me to get it  But if I'm lucky enough to get the free tickets, I can have the money to explore Taipei . Perhaps not all of my favorites will be at CC and most of them won't be in top form but going to Taipei is still more affordable than going to Saitama or Tokyo.

In addition, you can go to the front desk to get ticket for that day.
There were tons of seats empty during most of events, figure skating is not something popular here.
If you are coming, try to book ticket to fly to Taipei City instead of Taoyuen then book the hotel next to the arena, then everything is done.

if you fly from Vietnam, you can only land in Taoyuan
If you land in Taoyuan airport that will take 40mins to 1 hour depend on the traffic and route.
There a lots of ways to travel to Taipei from the air port.

There is the other airport in Taipei and only 10 mins away from arena for competition. if there is anyone will come from Tokyo, I recommend you fly to Taipei airport the one call Songshan (松山).

if you are really coming, also feel free to DM me. I can give you some transportation advise especially if you have budget concern

okay ive got the tickets, but im so confused by the row numbers!! like is row 22 or row 2 nearer or further from the front? O: I wonder, and a different of 20 rows seems intense!

By the way, could anybody tell me if the official practices are open to public in Japan?
I would love to attend the practices at NHK but I have no idea how that works.

Congratulations sweetdream!  I'm not sure about row numbers because tickets sold in Japan haven't been dispensed yet.  Purchasers in Japan still don't know which seats they have got.

This is the seat segments for tickets sold in Japan.  If you got seats in Yellow zone, 20 rows difference may be possible.


This is the inside of the venue.  It's not big like the one used for JO or JPN nationals.

I don't know anything about NHK, but I think let's talk knows about it.  

Regarding GPF, tickets for official practices are on sale now.     

Tickets are 3,500 yen advance and 4,000 yen at door.  People who have purchased competition tickets can apply for Dec. 5, 6, 7 practices and people w/o competition ticket can apply only for Dec. 4.  And this is drawing, you will have to win it.  (It may be for the purpose of limitting the number of people who come to see official practices.)

Ah I see! Well, maybe I got the seats further behind but oh wells glad to even be there <: and hope its still an okay seat gahhhh! heheheh
