| Chinese fans asked Sato Sensei about Mao. And Sato said Mao works hard everyday,Mao is very tough and strong in mind, she just needs more time and we need patience. Morozov is really good at flirting with women, lol. One Mao fan send Miki a bunch of flowers. And Morozov asked if he has flowers. After the fan answered that it is only for Miki, Morozov pretended to be very sad. Then the fan said ok, next time. He said, next time? The fan promised that next time she would bring flowers for him. Morozov immediately said that he liked yellow ones. lol

| Ok I read this and I am SO MAD!!! It's from icenetwork: "Reigning world champion Mao Asada from Japan was out of shape at her two Grand Prix assignments and did not qualify for Beijing." Excuse me, she is not out of shape, she is rehauling her jump technique. And if you haven't noticed, the only jumps she has landed in EVERY long this season were the two final jumps - both triples. She is NOT out of shape... | |

Excuse me, she is not out of shape, she is rehauling her jump technique. And if you haven't noticed, the only jumps she has landed in EVERY long this season were the two final jumps - both triples. She is NOT out of shape... I can't believe it, do they not follow the skaters too know what mao is going through what the hell did they expect to see her reworking ALL her jumps in just a few month, jumps are not something one cn easily change, they are a reflex a part of a person that has been built up through many years of training and competition!! and to see her making progress soo early is already very impressive considering how little time mao has had too adjust to all the changes she is going through. and her being able to do her jumps in practice means that she is getting used to her jumps, and now only needs time to adjust to them and the increased speed into the jumps. anyway who cares about what they say, I will be the first one to have a good laugh when mao has her jumps back and blows everyone away because once she has got them back the whole field will be a piece of cake to beat!!!! I thought they learned from last year that they shouldnt underestimete mao just because she has a bad start to the season because she normally always end the season in highlight. even through this season is a little different matter cause the big changes she has had,but I have absolutely no doubt she will get her jumps back soon.... and even through she may struggle this season if it will help her in the long run its worth sacrificing a few medals (which she has already won plenty of)....

| SP Result for Junior Ladies: 1 Adelina SOTNIKOVA RUS 57.27 31.52 25.75 6.61 6.18 6.54 6.36 6.50 0.00 #8 2 Elizaveta TUKTAMISHEVA RUS 53.76 29.36 24.40 6.21 5.75 6.36 6.04 6.14 0.00 #7 3 Polina SHELEPEN RUS 53.26 30.71 22.55 5.79 5.50 5.75 5.61 5.54 0.00 #5 4 Risa SHOJI JPN 52.56 28.56 24.00 6.21 5.75 5.96 6.04 6.04 0.00 #6 5 Zijun LI CHN 49.62 28.04 21.58 5.64 5.11 5.57 5.36 5.29 0.00 #1 6 Kristiene GONG USA 47.24 25.52 21.72 5.61 5.25 5.32 5.43 5.54 0.00 #2 7 Christina GAO USA 43.98 23.21 21.77 5.64 5.29 5.25 5.50 5.54 1.00 #4 8 Yasmin SIRAJ USA 38.08 18.34 20.74 5.32 5.14 4.86 5.39 5.21 1.00 #3 Liza was unable to go for the 3-3, so that more or less meant Adelina will automatically be in the lead. Both Adelina and Polina S landed the 3Lz-3T although Adelina had a slight stumble on the lutz and had to really power though the combo. Risa landed the 3S-3T; Christina switched her 3-3 to a visibly underrotated 3T-3T and had a fall on her 2A leaving her way down in 7th. All in all, not too surprising of a result. The junior men are next. | |

| I am kind of disappointed. I was waiting for Liza to go for the 3A or the 3-3. It seems like ( I heard) that only Polina was able to land a clear 3-3, the others, even Risa, seemed to have underrotated it. | |

| Let's wait for the protocols: Adelina probably got high levels on her spins and steps. And also on her 3L and 2A. Plus, if her combo was only "<", the base value for that would still be high. And she had the highest PCS My favorite was Liza though today. I just loved how she got into character right from the start of the music! No doubt she would be first with a 3Lz-3T. I hope she lands it tomorrow | |

| I personally think Adelina deserves the edge she gets on her PCS. I actually thought it was unfair to her to get almost the same PCS as Christina Gao, at her first junior grand prix.
You could also say that Liza got to many points for what she did compared to Risa. Or that Shelepen was underscored because she was clean, plus she landed the 3Lz-3T. But I think the results were fair today. Only if Liza would have landed the 3Lz-3T cleanly and still be second, I would call it unfair.

Liza has to work more on her spins but that a question of time I guess and Liza is younger then Adelya. Well, I want Liza to win this!

| It seems Adelina skated really well again. I'm hoping she can win this, mostly because I want to see an in-depth interview on her in english. They did one on Liza already, but I haven't found one on Adelina. I'll be happy if she and Liza can go 1-2 in either order. And I wish best of luck to my personal fav, Zijun. Polosatik, I know you mentioned one of Adelina's fav is Mao, but has there actually be an interview/article in Russia where she mentions this? | |
