| Yeah, I think it was Elene! Very sweet of her. Love the choreo @2:00, when the Black Swan part of the music kicks in! Also the intro look lovely from the angle that was shown in the NeoSports part (1:55). Love the head/shoulders movement. | |

After her 3A, I think we can see Elene Gedevanishvili (yellow top) clapping for her That's sweet ! Thanks for posting this. I can't stop watching, so great. The only part that bothered me was Morozov standing at the boards for Dai. Daisuke why?!!! - inskate wrote:

Me too. Too bad the rules changed (step sequence before spiral), this would make a great ending.

This could still be ending - the new choreographic sequence can contain steps as well as spirals (although it must include at least 1 spiral position for ladies). Check out Akiko's LP - her choreo sequence consists mostly of steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB_xv-3bSJo (ChSq starts at 3:22)

| inskate you're right. I'm just so used to spirals that I automaticly think that choreo sequence consists of spirals and completely forget about other elements. I still hate the rule change though. | |

| Thanks Klarification! Mao looks stunning ! I envy her muscle, her shoulder, her smile and everything !!!! I am know sure that she gained some weight and muscle. No one (in other forums) are complaining that she's too thin.
GO MAO!!!!! | |

| Wow, lovely dress! I was riding a bus to my weekend class when Mao skated, but I checked the scores & PBP on my phone From what I've read, there was a lot of transitions in Mao's programs and I think she might need more time to really master the program (and get adjusted to the transition enough to not let them affect the flow of the jumps). This is a great start, though! Can't wait for the videos. Team Japan did great! Also Jeff was amazing, judging from the PBP. Speaking of costumes, Daisuke's is... http://spo.c.yimg.jp/im_siggu8ZjH9GYM0ZEIABU7FLHww---x450-y450-n1/sports/sportsnavi/channel/figure/121006_fig_takahashi1046.jpgI think it's the most awful costume I've seen on him, including the "chicken on fire" one from TEB 2004... | |

http://twitpic.com/b1gitv Love the dress, but I wish the v wasn't so low. It doesn't really work with her small bust size.

(Taka looks like the season 2010-2011...the hair and the face...hope others know what I mean ) (the makeup artist didn't work for Mao today. hope he will work with Mao for nationals)

| Yeah, Daisuke's costume looks like Adam Rippon's Pagliacci onesie married Nobunari's SP costume from Olympics and they had a weird baby... (Both costumes were Morozov's as well ). I liked /some/ of Morozov's costumes, but this is not one of them Haha, Elene's costume is a bit weird. Nice color and I like her sleeves, but the motiff on the chest and the awkward skirt do make it look a bit as if it were made from drapes... I liked Elene's and Ashley's dresses, though. I hope there will be some vids available soon! At least news clips... | |

| Saw Dai's costume. Noooo!!! Please stay away from Morozov's costumes! But I'm glad of his performance this early in the season. And Mao!!! That's a very good start indeed. not her planned 2A-3T but still a very, very good start. I wonder how Ashley scored higher. Do we have protocols now? I can't wait for the broadcast and Kayo and Ernie's reports! | |

I can't even open the results page (my school has lousy computers ), but Ashley has the advantage of having 2 double Axels in her program... Plus, Mao's program was reportedly quite busy, so she might have missed a level or UR something out of tiredness. If someone finds the protocols, please post the direct link here!
