I think this is her FS. I really like the opening, it reminds me of a swan though. I wouldn't mind if she skated to Swan Lake, she'd look divine. Knowing Tat - It could very well be Swan Lake - Actually it would be a killer combo if Mao skated her SP to the rumored Lady Butterfly and becomes a swan in her FS - Although, I kinda wanted Mao to skate Swan Lake for Sochi!
OMG, Madame Butterfly for the short program would be amazing. I'd love it, but didn't Mao said her short is happy, musical like? This does not sound like Puccini. I think it would be better that she skates to Swan Lake (if she ever planed to skate to it) this year and not in Sochi, because I think we'll be seing a lot of swans at Olympics.

It's Swan Lake! OMG, thank you!!!! He he I was right. Do you know if it's Swan Lake from ballet or the movie soundtrack from Black Swan? I can't wait to see this! Mao as Odette (the white swan) is a dream! Though I'm sure she'd make an awesome Odile as well.

Me too, it would be amazing if Mao will portray both the white and the black swan, with lots of ballet moves in it. I'm so excited for the choreographic sequence, I see a masterpiece. And in the clip it looks like she's opening the program with the 3 loop, that's a first.

| Hi, it's been a while guys! I'm going to both Japan Open and Carnival on Ice next Saturday with Luckyone! So excited to see Mao skate Swan Lake! But some of us in Facebook's Mao's Guardian Angels group are worried about Mao's costume...since Tat did the choreo again, and although we know she's a great choreogapher...when it comes to fashion sense, that's another story. So I created an imaginary costume for Mao's Swan Lake jus for fun. And Star85 suggested I post it here too. I made the collage based on a photo from Mao's Chopin EX. The wings on her back is just an image I have for Mao as a Swan; I know she can't wear them at competition. But to me, it always seemed as if Mao had wings so I couldn't resist putting them on her. Hope you like it! | |

| it's beautiful imaginary costume, hope tat will come up with something simple but uniq at the same time!
by the way I would love to do a costume project, i think we have created so many beautiful imaginary dresses, that Mao may pick one of them, or get inspiration from them when she lets her costume be made!
seeing this picture of Mao, made me want to make a montage with Mao skating to swan lake lol, i am soo excitet and soo happy knowing that we will be seeing Mao compete soon!
but seriously guys there should be some kind of channel that will air JO?

| Pochinko it's a beautiful costume. I hope TAT will go easy on the feathers since you do get a deduction if stuff falls from your costume. - ballerinamao wrote:

I agree, though personally I suck at this kind of things, but you guys are so creative it's amazing. Someone should send the costume you guys come up with to Mao's management, she would certainly become one of the best dressed skaters. I think JO will be shown with a few hours delay, I don't think there's a live stream available. Unless russian TV is going to show it.

↑ It's tomorrow! Can't wait to see. In the clip, we'll see 3L, 2A+3T, 3L+2L Why many Loop Jump this year? Is the score is higher? Surely that there is no 3A tomorrow. Thanks for posting the clip! I'm wondering the same about the loop, especially since receiving full credit and good goe is much easier with the toe jumps in combo than with the loop.
