| There was one tweet earlier that I ran through google translate and said something like Adelina ran up to watch Mao's FS skate (or something like that). Not too sure about it though as you know how these translation sites sometimes give us really varying translations.

Here it us guys! Enjoy Mao definitely gets a OGM worthy program...that StSq is to die for. After watching it for a second time, I think I don't really mind the repeated music phrase to gain time for the whole StSq. The program is

| Just look at her reaction as she went for her ending pose. I love it. She looks really happy she did pretty well. Looking forward to seeing her improvements over the season. | |

| Thank you Mao. Thank you TAT. This is a masterpiece. It's been reported that TAT choreographed this program in the way that Mao can puts all her emotions and thoughts she had in the past years. It's sad to say but this is the best program to conclude her competitive career. I'm so moved to tears. | |

| I love the ending! As for choreography, I a bit mixed. I wish there were more choreographic details in the slower/lyrical section of the piece. I prefer the slower section of Swan Lake LP to this one. But I think Mao's performance of this program is better. I always hoped she could add more tension/drama in the earlier parts of Swan Lake but she maintained the dramatic tension pretty well in Rach 2. | |

| The comentator, Junko Yaginuma said in admiration this step sequence is made up with combinations of difficult steps. I'm looking forward to seeing the breakdown of those steps which I hope some figure skating magazines will show in their future issues. I agree with roma that her PCS is low. | |

I think I read something similar which said Adelina run up to K&C to watch Mao's skate even though she was to skate immediately after Mao.

| I just watched the program and I'm speachless. Absolutely wonderful choice of music, step sequence was simply breathtaking. My gosh, this program has the power, I still feel chill runs down my back. I just wish Mao didn't try to do 3S, there's no reason to do it. I know she wants to do all kind of triples but I think it's too risky.

| For me it's ok she's trying to do the Lutz and the Salchow. She has her goals and that's to do all kinds of triples in an 8 triple program. And I'm hoping she'll accomplish that by the Olympics. | |

everything in Mao's program is full of risk, it has simply always been like that and this year is no exception. and like you I am also speechless... it was breathtaking, to say the least, it just had everything one could wish for!

| Dai https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvLwXd4ZSiMI'm not sure about this music choice and choreography. Dai is such a beautiful skater, his skating is as smooth as silk. I don't think this program has a potential to grow as the one that will suit to Olympic games. I wish he had used David Willson once again. He could have given him a real masterpiece. | |

| There are many figure skating competitions going on around the world tonight. Just finished watching Akiko and others as Finlandia Trophy. I want to cheer up Mura and Akio at Ondrej Nepela Trophy but I'm so tired and sleepy. | |

| Whenever Mao has a high score, some people would start saying she's overscored, etc. I don't see what's wrong with her scores. She rotated five tripes and her PCS is well within the range she received last year. It was even lower than the one at Worlds and the one she received at previous JO. And I even start seeing someone mention about her picking a blue dress because of Olympic superstition. lol. It's like this color is only a popular choice in Olympic seasons. What I always find amusing is that some people would watch and scrutinize in detail a performance of a skater they don't like. I would never waste time doing that. | |
