And SK really made my evening ,they were the best, much better then VT. I know I'm evil, but I would give them the gold. I agree, but this wasn't their Oly's it was V/T's. I can't believe the PCS V/T got for that LP crap. The good news is, that Russia has a future star pair in these two. S/K for the gold in Pyong Chang.
What will happen to B/Z? Will they continue or retire? I mean her jumps are awful, she's so freaking thin, no wonder she can't lift her self. Vera is a gorgeous skater but she needs to gain weight and muscle, IMO.
Not sure about BL future. Vera always had bad jumping technique but now it's even worse. No matter if she lands them or not, it's won't help them to gain TES score. Ksusha really impressed me today, I remember her 2 years ago, then she barely jumped and her consistency was not good at all. She made so much improvement, lost weight and at the most important event of 4 years skated two perfect programs. Fedor was always good, but she really made my evening. Man, I can't believe I got another Pair's name wrong. First S/S were S/Z and now poor Vera and Yuri. Do you think that if she gains some (much needed IMO) weight and muscle that she could improve drastically on jumps? I think so, but then I'm not an expert. Maybe she should do whatever Ksenya did, to improve so much.

- What did he say now? He had his moments of rudeness, I remember a couple of his comments.
Wow, that's the first I hear about it. When did he diss the germans? I know he said some harsh words about his former partner and Vasiliev but then again they weren't nice to Trankov either, but I've never heard anything about him being rude to the germans. I didn't follow this pair, though...
And why did the Austrian commentator called Stas Morozov Tanya's husband? I thought she's with Trankov, and at Euros our commentator said something about Tanya/Max being engaged. Does anyone know what's the deal with these two? Stas is an ex boyfriend of Tanya

| OMG, Aljona Savchenko just said that she wants to continue competing.... with a new partner because Robin doesn't want anymore. "I'm not ready yet, there are still Olympic Games in 2018 for me!" And she totally wants to go to Worlds this year to finish the 10 years with Robin with another World title but still Robin has to be convinced ... I can't imagine Aljona with another partner! I want them to do shows together... If Aljona is competing we won't see Robin ever on the ice anymore.... I don't know what to think...! Their Olympic story just breaks my heart! | |

| Evan's comment on Mao. "Mao [Asada] looks insane. She's so good -- strength and jumps, of course, but also the complexity of her programs. I noticed in particular she is never on two feet; she is always on one foot, which is what judges look for in the components. They look for so much: transitions, edges, speed, multi-directional movement; she has all of that stuff." http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2014/02/12/67585378 | |

| The Ukrainian guy needs a better outfit... and is it bad that I randomly started laughing the second his music came up? And he needs better jumps...
And I like his spreadeagle into sit spin.

| Oh finally I can log in. Hi everyone, I've actually been lurking for a while but logged in again only now because back then I was too busy sneaking off to watch LS (and just my luck, Mao fell on her 3A and this happens every time I watch live). But now I don't have any work so I can support and cheer for my fave men. Misha next! Please do well! | |

| Misha Ge's performance was really good! I loved his step sequence! And conversation between me and BBC: BBC: Will he impress the judges? Me: He will. If he lands his jumps. Oh wait, did I jinx him? | |

Welcome back! Does this mean you won't be watching Mao live in SP and LP next week? I think most of us think this way. I too, have a feeling sometimes that my watching her live is somehow jinxing her.

| In which I forget that Belgium has another guy that's not Kevin Van Der Perren... or is he the only one here? (Sorry...)
And Hendrix bores me to death, and my first reaction to him was WTF... he'll probably go into 1st though...
I did like his exit from his 3lo.
