Thank you SO MUCH, everyone, for your translations, clips, and supportive spirit! I am so happy and relieved that Mao is in good shape. She is so strong that like some of you said, she is my inspiration and my heroine!!! I don't have much constructive to say here, but I just wanted to express my gratitude to you all and my complete excitement for Mao!

I posted the schedule in the first post of the thread. I was trying to find the practice schedule on the JSF website, but I didn't see one...

Does anyone know if there will be a better way to watch the Fuji TV broadcast than Keyhole TV?

I'm still debating whether to stay up or go to sleep...is anyone else planning to watch the Men's SP broadcast?

BTW, the skating order is as follows for the skaters we probably care about:

19 Taka-chan (this is 2nd in the second to last group)
25 Daisuke (this is 2nd in the last group)
29 Yuzuru (he's last!)

I hope Yuzuru-kun can handle the pressure of skating last!

Yuzuru-kun does seem quite fearless, doesn't he?!

Oh, and I meant to mention this in one of the other threads, but in one of the skating books I have, there is an interview with Yuzuru-kun, and he explained that he was able to master the 3A because he watched Mao doing it and thought, "if Mao-chan can do it, then so can I!"

As far as I could tell from the poor stream, Taka-chan still doesn't get the big hugs from Kumiko-sensei or Nobuo-sensei though. I guess they really do treat Mao differently. (Like a beloved grandchild!!) Hahaha!

In the interview after his performance, Taka-chan says he doesn't know the levels [for the elements] yet, but for now, he feels like he did everything he could do, so he's relieved.

So far this season, he wasn't able to give the performance he knew he could do, so now he's glad he was able to finally do a clean SP.

Apparently he said last year's win was "bittersweet," so they ask him what he meant, and he said there was the collision and other things in the FS, so he wants to give a proper FS this time.

I'm kinda doing this from what I remember off the top of my head, so if it's wrong, I apologize in advance.

The actual competition for the ladies SP is at 14:10 tomorrow, and the TV broadcast starts at 19:00.

Daisuke was awesome!

He said he was glad to land a quad for the first time in several years.

why can't the media leave the 3A alone?! She is so much more than just a skater who is able to do 3A (even if she's the only skater in the world who does it). Why can't they focus on her amazing 2A-3T, or her much improved speed and performance?! Listening to them you'd think 3A is all she's got

I just love to see her smile. And team Sato is awesome! you can really see how much they love her.

hi everyone, it's my first time posting here after lurking for over a year now.

i'm excited and at the same time nervous to see Mao tomorrow!
i still can remember clearly how i got teary eyed after watching Mao perform her SP at the nationals last year.
i was clapping like crazy in front of my TV. (i was in osaka last december, but i'm back in my country,
so pretty bummed out that the nationals this year is held in osaka )

Thanks for the updates everyone!!! So many videos/pictures, I can't even keep up hahaah!

Everytime I see a footage of Mao's press conference, I have tears in my eyes.
Such a strong girl, she's constantly reminded of what her life was like in the past few weeks, yet she doesn't shed a tear- like when they asked her when she resumed practice.
A BIG hug for Mao!

But watching her skate is amazing, Kyoko-san must be watching over her...
