The battle for 2nd and 3rd is going to be interesting. Denis is really not known for his consistency so whatever leads he has now could really crumble (I sure hope not! but I'm being realistic

Dai 2 footed his quad, and I think he had some under rotation on the quad/3T? o: but what an event!

This is why I think that Javi might actually get the silver. Again he'll be pressure free, just like at Euros, so he can relax and skate his heart out, and IF he'll manage to do that, than only Patrick is going to beat him.

I'm even more pissed about last year's results. Dai was a true winner and they screwed him, and this year there's no way anyone but Patrick is going to win. He can literally slide on his butt throughout his entire program.

And if they "overlook" another UR from kevin I'm going to lose it.

So I guess this means D/W already lost in dance?

And while I'm all for fair judging and stuff, I really hope that Russia is going to majorly screw Skate canada in Sochi!!!

On the bright side, I LOVED Dai's performance. I liked the program and he had such amazing energy, especially during that ridiculous footwork sequence!

hm not necessarily. For USA to keep it's 2 spots, both men must not exceed the number 28. So in the worst case scenario they need to place 12th and 16th. I think they're capable of that.

it's japan's 3 spots that I'm worried about. it's already a crime that they only can send 3 skaters, but having only two spots for Oly's would just be too brutal.

this means that meryl and charlie have absolutely no chance of winning gold. unless tessa and scott have an injury, meryl and charlie will have to put up with second place. they were the rightful winners last year!
