| Yuzu did great but not enough cause Chan also did best. If Chan does mistake and Yuzu cleans tomorrow, Yuzu might have a chance but it is so little. | |

| I wonder if Plushenko has an opportunity in this OG, in 2010 it was uncommon the quadruple, and honestly it was his advantage, Plushy is not very good in the other elements, however if he want to compete good for him and for us | |

| I couldn't watch men live, but wow, according to score Yuzu was great. He can close the gap on Patrick. he lost a level on step seq and a spin. IMO, this is judges saying that if Yuzu is clean he has a chance. I wonder what the result will be in Sochi if all Yuzu, Dai and Patty go clean. It will come down to the levels and PCS. - Haidogirl wrote:
- I didnt know, that Sasha had a bad working habbit as well! I feel free now to say, that Sasha had not the talent, that Mirai has.. (my opinion) Sasha was never able to skate two good programs, as we know
Well, according to TAT, Sasha didn't want to work on those stuff she wasn't good at, and rather focused on perfecting those elements she was already great at. Robin Wagner was also quite critical of her, but considering that the criticism came after Sasha left her...I wonder how much of it was exaggerated. Sasha's SS were rather poor, the same for her jumps. She was good at acting and showing off her flexibility. And since she was the first with such great flexibility, it had a great wow factor. But now that I look back at her programs, it was same old, same old. IMO.

I'm not so sure about that third spot. It would be awesome if she'd make it, but knowing USFSA, I'm not sure. Samantha's TES is rather low for having her 3Lo-3Lo ratyfied. To me it looked good as well, but judges or tech controler hate the loop combo. Another area where IJS completely sucks. Poor Anna, she was doing so great, and then popped the freaking 2A.

Seriously, the points, the judges gave too much at the mens, they give too less to the Ladies What do you mean? I mean, there were performances worth a 60+, but yet, the best is a 60.03.. I thought Gaos skate was great! 65 for that, but yeah.. Actually, Christina's 3-3 looked two footed, her 3lo was twofooted with a slight UR, she doesn't get the levels, so today her score looks OK to me. I wish Adelina would go for 3Lu-3T instead at least in the SP. the risk is too high, and when things go wrong you can't make amends, unlike in LP. Ok, Ashley has this one in the bag. Ashley's 3-3 looked UR again, hopefully this time judges will notice it. Here's the protocol: http://www.isuresults.com/results/gpfra2013/gpfra2013_Ladies_SP_Scores.pdfAshley did receive an UR on her 3-3, thank you judges, however her -goe is minimal, only -0.5 If only Ana hadn't popped that 2A, she would've had a chance at gold.

I agree. Guys if Anna places second here, she goes to GPF, even with third place she still has a shot at it. GPF could easily consist of: Mao, Ashley, Yulia, Anna, Radionova, Kostner (if she wins CoR, if she places in 2nd she needs to have a better combined total from both GP's than Radionova), if Adelina places 2nd at TEB she's in instead of Radionova, if she places in 3rd, she needs a higher combined total than Radionova. Of course everyone can still bomb, but the way things are going, the GPF will consist of at least 3 russian ladies. IF Anna beats Adelina yet again and makes it to GPF, do you think she'll go to Sochi with Yulia instead of Adelina?
