I was excited but now I'm Woot!

I just hope that Mao isn't overworking herself, knowing how a hardworker she and Sato are!

I have an exam on friday afternoon (2 hours before ladies sp), I'll be running home like crazy, although I don't know how I'll be able to focus on economics, when all I'll be able think about is Mao Faint2

I really hope eurosport is going to broadcast ladies and men live.

I'll be gone during the competition, so I won't even be able to watch it on TV. Bawling

I will have access to NHK though, so I guess they'll announce the results. And I'll be back in time to watch the gala. Smile

I hope I'll be able to watch this, maybe sometime in between work-- if I can get a live feed that works. I hope Mao will be at her best at the GPF.

I think Mao doesn't care to win at the moment. She cares about putting a better performance than she already did for her past two events. I think that's her goal. Remember, she has a new mindset now. She has better goals instead of just winning, and this makes her calm and composed.

As for Elizaveta, I felt like she didn't expect to win her past two events either. She wanted to make a good impression upon people, but I don't think winning was her extreme number one goal. Now that she has won, maybe she wants to win this final event. I think she will win this Grand Prix, but as far as what she can do, Mao still edges her in everything else in my opinion. Mao does SUPERB in everything else, like her spins, footwork, etc. The only thing is that she isn't consistent, but for someone who's completely changing her technique, she's doing very well! Eliza's advantage is her age. If Mao was the same age, I'm pretty sure that we all know what'll happen if they competed against one another!

Ladies short is fine, but the free skate will be at night,oh Drama!

And men competition will be super late for me, I hope I won't get asleep! Too sweet!

I hope that the practice of the skaters will be watched cause that could indicate how the competition will unfold and in what conditions the skaters are!

She says she feels like what she kept accumulating is finally becoming hers. She made a few mistakes in her first two GP competitions, so that gives her goals going into the final. She wants to deliver a perfect performance there.

waaaaaaaahhhh Mao LOOKS GREAT AND I WOULD BE SOOO THRILLED, if Mao delieved to clean performances at the GPF, that would be soo awesome to see!
I want some practice clips now, I want to see Mao training and see what she and Sato are doing right now, and by the way I'm actually quite astonished that she would give an interview considering how little time she has until the final and how busy she is.

she seemed so determined in the interview to deliver at the GPF which makes me soo happy, cause once Mao has set her mind on something she really does it... can't wait.

I don't know about Liza winning. If Mao goes clean the gold is hers. Even without 3A and 3-3 she scores higher in the sp than Liza and IMO, if Mao makes 1 mistake in the long it shouldn't matter since like Mao_Asada_sunrise said, Mao is far superior on everything else.

I do worry about Caro's (over)scoring though, the same for Alissa...

but zarinnaballerina, without the technical content I can't see caro as a real contender except if Mao bombs but that isn't very likely to happen!

Normally I would agree, but both Caro and Alissa have been getting higher scores than (imo) they deserve. I mean, do you agree with Alissa winning the long program at TEB? Her skate that day was slow, cautious and yet she won over Liza and scored only 3 points below Mao's lp at NHK. Not to mention, judges love Caro.
