British Euro commentators aren't happy with the score either...but I agree with the slightly higher score than the Canadians...Duhamel had some wobbly landings... (and possible UR's)

And their TES is considerably high, so they didn't won on PCS only
S/S season might be a blessing in disguise. Better to struggle now. Imagine when they'll put together this layout.

I've been saying this whole season. Any combo with 3Lo as a second jump is not worth the risk, because it will always get downgraded. You could be Yuna Kim and it would still get downgraded. Judges just love to do that with 3Lo.

With the exception of Kaetlyn who had none, Kanako had the most fewest -GOEs (only two -1s for her 3F). Her TES was 36.87 slightly higer than Yuna, but her PCS was only 29.77. I can't say much about the other components, but her highest score for PE was 8.0 while the lowest was 6.50. Interpretation was the higest 8.0 and the lowest 6.75. I basically think these two elements are totally the judge's subjective views. Kaetlyn got only 29.54 PCS and the biggest score difference in her componets was interpretation; highest was 9.0, lowest was 6.25. Kanako and Kaetlyn were the ones who skated most cleanly according to their TES, but they were the only ones in the top 6 who's PCS didn't reach 30. I find this very odd and very unfair.

Oh and just for the record...Yuna has said to the press that she felt she didn't get the scores she thought she would get! There are lots of Korean newspaper articles translated into Jpnse which can be read on Yahoo!Japan. Chuo-Nippo wrote an article saying Yuna's chances of winning Worlds at this point is 73%. I'm sure they calculated that number assuming she'll skate perfectly...what a meaningless article, anything can happen in FP. They also wrote another article titled 'US Media praises Yuna saying the Queen is Back'. Yonhap News wrote an article titled 'Judges are Harsh on Yuna Only'. XINHUA (a Chinese news source) has written in their article that the Koren media is saying that 'All the other competitor's levels are way lower than Yuna'. This is obviously an insult to all the other girls. I am totally pissed with the Korean media. They are arrogant and have no respect for the other skaters. As far as I know, the Jpnse newspapers have never written anything in such a manner even when Mao won a competition. Please believe me when I say that the Jpnse media is not perfect but they aren't as half as bad as the Korean media. Yuna may have simply been honest, but I don't like her attitude about saying she thought she would get higher scores. I'm sorry Yuna fans, but I am fed up with her lack of modesty. She's a good skater but I can never respect her personality anymore. I tried but I just can't.

I try not to read those Korean newspaper articles, but I can't avoid seeing the titles cause they're listed along with the Jpnse newspaper articles. They make me sick to the stomach.

I just watched Liza and Adelina's SP. I love their programs especially Liza's (same from last season isn't it?) and I think they are both very expressive but I wonder why their PCS are always so low. I don't think they skate like juniors anymore and they are as good as other seniors.
